KIFF-KATTI travel around the world takes you on common imaginative journeys. At the center of the trip are the children of the world traveler, who follow the adventures of KIFF-KAT, who leads the group, and get to know the lives of his friends.

Stage of the Kotka Main Library

SANAVANA offers poetic experiences in several different languages. The poems are presented both in the original language and as translations. The events are co-produced by Sivuvalo Platform ry, which promotes the visibility of the work of writers writing in languages other than Finnish and the conditions for working in Finland.

PANEL DISCUSSION

"Literature as a Promoter of Human Rights"

The discussion opens up the roles of the author and literature in different countries, and considers, among other things, who gets their voices heard and whose voices are silenced.

 

Writers and poets from Finland and the world will be heard as panelists, with Anne Ketola, a translator and translator.
