Haukkavuori's old water tower rises towards the sky from the sea. On its side is a ring resembling a film reel placed obliquely on an eight-cornered wood pile.

 

Engraved with human figures standing side by side on the side of the pile. A brass plate is placed on top of the wooden diagonally cut end. The Haukkavuori water tower depicts the internationality of the festival and the city of Kotka. The pile is high and depicts the view that the filmmakers to the audience.

 

The engravings on the side of the column are reminiscent of equality and the importance of
cooperation.

 

The characters are at the same height side by side as the prize is flipped, note that the characters
form a circle and no one is outside.

 

The material of the award is wood, which is ecological material.
